Premarin foals for the most part are draft crosses.  It is often difficult to obtain specific-type foals as requested.  E.P.O.N.A. will make every attempt to select a foal meeting your requirements to the best of our abilities.  Please understand that your deposit if applicable is fully refundable if we are unable to locate a foal that meets with your approval.

E.P.O.N.A. requires a quarantine period of two to three weeks, and in some cases longer.  This if for health and safety reasons.

Upon the foal's arrival, the adoptee will be notified in the order in which the application was received.  Arrangement will be made for the adoptee to visit E.P.O.N.A. and select their Premarin foal.  Once the foal has been selected, E.P.O.N.A. will begin the befriending process.

It is often the case that foals will arrive with runny eyes and nose.  This is usually a virus brought on by stress from the trip.  Similar to a human cold the virus does not respond to antibiotics.  In most cases, the virus will run its course and in time clear up.  In cases of a bacterial infection, antibiotics will be administered under the direction of a veterinarian as soon as the foal may be handled.  Foals at E.P.O.N.A. are not released until the adoptee has been accepted and the foal is haltered, capable of being led, and has begun a vaccination and worming program.  It is the responsibility of the adoptee to continue with the medical and worming program.  Our veterinarian must deem all foals healthy before they are released.  It is recommended that the foal be examined by the adoptee's own veterinarian upon arrival to the foal's new home.

All foals released are provided a full medical and nutritional history along with a current negative coggins.  Travel arrangements from E.P.O.N.A. are the responsibility of the adoptee unless specified otherwise by E.P.O.N.A.  A nominal fee may be charged if necessary and scheduling will be at the discretion of E.P.O.N.A.

Adoption fees are the direct cost of each foal and will vary depending on the individual foal.  Costs related to the foal's adoption include but are not limited to the initial purchase, transportation, auction and applicable adoption fees, stockyard fees, medical and veterinarian fees, feed, etc.

Payment in full is expected upon the foal's release unless specified otherwise by E.P.O.N.A.

E.P.O.N.A. reserves the discretionary right to visit and examine the foal.

E.P.O.N.A. provides a seven-day grace period in which your foal may be returned for a full refund.

E.P.O.N.A. reserves the right of first refusal, and/or the discretion to approve any potential new owners should this become necessary in the future.

E.P.O.N.A. requires an annual updated photo and health certificate and change of address if applicable.

No foal will be permitted to leave E.P.O.N.A. without the conditions previously stated in this document.

I have read and agree to the terms and conditions as stated above in this agreement.
