Casino gaming and entertainment company Bally’s Corporation announced the appointment of Kim Barker Lee as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer.

The appointment of Lee at NYSE-listed Bally’s Corporation brings more than 25 years of legal and business expertise gained across various partnerships, public finance transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.

Excited to welcome Lee to Bally’s, chief executive officer of Bally’s Corporation Lee Fenton expressed his confidence that the new addition would live up to expectations and enhance the expertise of the company’s global leadership team.

The depth and breadth of Kim’s legal expertise, especially in gaming and lottery, will be instrumental as the company continues to expand and evolve during this period of significant growth.

Fenton added that Lee’s understanding of key markets such as Rhode Island and Illinois will bring extra value as the business explores new opportunities in jurisdictions where it is operational.

In her new role, Lee will be responsible for providing oversight of Bally’s legal and public affairs teams that are supporting the company’s global strategic initiatives.

Lee concluded that she is eager to begin the next chapter of her career and become part of Bally’s continued success.

Holder of a BA in American Studies from Yale College and a JD from New York School of Law, Lee’s most recent role was as inaugural Global Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at IGT, where she was appointed after spending some time serving as General Counsel and Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Northstar Lottery Group.

Her career also features roles as General Counsel to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and partner at Altheimer & Gray and Pugh, Jones & Johnson, P.C. law firms, while her board experience includes Community College of Rhode Island Foundation, Family Service of Rhode Island and Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company.

Named a Top 100 Diversity Officers by the National Diversity Council for two years in a row, Lee is a member of several committees, including AGA’s Corporate Responsibility Committee, the Diversity Advisory Committee of US Congressman Jim Langevin and the Equity Leadership Initiative Steering Committee of the Rhode Island Foundation.
