Congratulations to Boo and Sheeba and the Gillen family on the adoption of Boo and Sheeba. All of us here at E.P.O.N.A. are very happy for you and so thankful that Boo and Sheeba will be able to remain together.

Boo and Sheeba were rescued by the New Hampshire SPCA and later entrusted to the care of E.P.O.N.A. Both horse's halters were deeply embedded into their skin. Boo was seriously underweight and in need of dental work. He also is unfortunate to suffer from severe arthritis in both knees. So much so that he found it difficult to get down and was not able to get up without assistance. A medical plan was put into place and Boo is now very comfortable with only a maintained dose of Cosequin. He can freely get up and down now.

Sheeba faired much better, being a boss mare she did not suffer as much from weight loss and she has no physical limitations. She can be ridden. Boo and Sheeba have been together for years and it is our intent not to separate them and to find them a home where they may remain together.
