The Moneymaker Tour, the poker series created by Chris Moneymaker and Tony Burns, has partnered with the Poker Room at Palm Beach Kennel Club (PBKC) to present its new stop of exciting poker tournaments scheduled to take place this May.
Two Weeks of Live Poker
The inaugural stop of the Moneymaker Tour will take place May 10-24, featuring two weeks filled with tournament poker, with more than $1 million in а guaranteed prize pool and 20 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $86 to $2,500.
“It’s going to be an amazing event featuring our largest buy-in event ever as well as a full line-up of great tournaments,” commented Noah Carbone, Poker Room director and assistant general manager at PBKC, excited at the opportunity to host the inaugural stop of the poker series named after 2003 WSOP Champion and Americas Cardroom Team Pro, Chris Moneymaker.
This event will bring people to us from all over the country who haven’t experienced this facility before, and many are first-time visitors to beautiful Palm Beach County.

The 14-day poker event will begin on Wednesday, May 10, with a $500 buy-in tournament offering $250,000 in guaranteed prize money and running through Saturday, May 13. There will be six starting flights running on May 10, 11, and 12 before the tournament proceeds to Day 2 on May 13.

Moneymaker executive manager Tony Burns also commented on the development, highlighting the perfect fit between the Moneymaker Tour and the Poker Room at PBKC which is located in “the epicenter for exciting and competitive poker” Florida has become.
“Collectively, we have put together a very exciting poker tour that will appeal to every type of tournament player,” Burns continued, excited to see PBKC added to the poker schedule of many amazing poker players.
The Moneymaker Main Event, a $2,500 buy-in offering a chance to compete for a piece of a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, will start six days later with Day 1 featuring three starting flights on May 18, 19, and 20, and will run until May 24 when the poker action from the final table will be live streamed.
