RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa Kicks off 2023 Season; $600 Buy-In, $100K GTD Main Event



After ending the year with a splash featuring the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Contenders Thunder Valley Event, which premiered the poker stop’s first-ever $1 million guaranteed event, RGPS starts the new year off strong at the Hard Rock Tulsa.

The RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa runs from January 24th-29th, with multiple events including a DeepStack Ring Event, Double Green Chip Bounty Ring Event, and a chance to win your seat into the Main Event with a Turbo Satellite on January 27th.

Their $600 buy-in, $100,000 GTD Main Event, which will be live reported by PokerNews, will offer three starting flights, the first of which will start on Friday, January 27th at 6 p.m. with players receiving a starting stack of 30,000 chips and blinds of 100/200/200. Day 1 levels will last 30 minutes, with 15-minute breaks every four levels until Level 9, where breaks move to every three levels. Day 2 levels will last 40 minutes and commence on Sunday, January 29th at Noon. Registration will remain open until the start of Level 9, and players are able to enter all Day 1 flights.

The series kicks off with a $200 buy-in Seniors Ring Event and an Opening Night $165 Guest Bounty Ring Event at 7 p.m.. Some guests will be holding bounty envelopes that contain prizes between a $1,000 cash prize and RunGood Apparel Store Credit. You can also catch an On Demand Flip and Go Ring Event for the first three days with a $165 buy-in.

RGPS Checkpoint

This season of RGPS, they will thank our United States service members abroad. For every side event this season, they will ship a care kit out and for every main event, ten care kits. In addition, RGPS will be selling Limited Edition RGPS Checkpoint hats where for every purchase, a care kit will also be sent out to our service members abroad.

In the last RGPS Tulsa event, Shantanu Garg of Springfield, Missouri topped a field of 472 players to win the $40,555 first prize, the RunGood Contenders series ring, and a trip to Las Vegas for the RunGood ProAM which finished the year out at the PokerGO studio last December.
