Stakelogic approved by Swedish regulator

On the heels of the launch of its new Greedy Fox online slot, which features its Super Stake and Spin to Win innovations, software provider Stakelogic has received approval from the Swedish regulator, Spelinspektionen, to continue to offer its portfolio of classic and video slots to licensed operators in the Nordic country.

Stakelogic Live, the provider’s rapidly growing live dealer division that was launched in the fall of 2021, will likewise be able to continue to offer its live content to operators and their players in Sweden. Games from both divisions are hooked up to the Super Stake innovation, which was launched in February 2020 and allows players to double their bet and boost the chance of activating a bonus feature and landing some potentially lucrative win combinations.

Coming Regulatory Changes

The approvals are in advance of the new regulations, including mandatory B2B licenses for gambling software in the Scandinavian nation, set down by the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) that are due to come into force on July 1, 2023.

The main objective of the amendments to the Gambling Act, which include the implementation of B2B licenses, is to prohibit gambling software providers from providing services to B2C operators that are not licensed. The updates were adopted on November 23, 2022, by (then new) members of Sweden’s parliament. Up until recently, only B2C operators needed to have a license granted by the SGA.

“Sweden is an important market for us, and we are thrilled to be among the first to secure a supplier licence for both Stakelogic and Stakelogic Live,” said Stephan van den Oetelaar, Chief Executive Officer for Stakelogic.

“Our games have really hit the mark with players in Sweden, and securing approval from the regulator means that we can continue to offer our slots and live content to operators and their players once the expected regulatory change comes into force.

We are super focused on regulated markets, so securing this approval has been a priority for us and we are delighted to be among the first round of providers to have been given the green light by the regulator.”

Uninterrupted Access

Courtesy of the approval, operators in Sweden will be able to provide players with access to the supplier’s range of classic slots including Multi6Player, Big Runner Deluxe and Multi4Player. More modern video slots like Cash Express, Wild Buzz, El Cowboy Megaway, Devil’s Trap and the recently launched Greedy Fox and Spartans Vs Zombies Multipays, are also included.

As mentioned, operators will also be able to offer players live casino content from Stakelogic’s live dealer subsidiary. European Roulette, American Blackjack, Auto Roulette and Auto Roulette Classic, as well as live game shows like Spin To Win, Super Stake Blackjack 60X and Runner Runner Roulette 5000X, which was released in early April, are covered in the suite.

Joe Fortune

A similar lineup can be found at Joe Fortune Live Casino games, where professional dealers host the three main game types, including roulette, blackjack and baccarat, for real money. The trio also happens to be the most popular of all the live casino games. Other casino games including pokies (slots), and video poker are also available to players on the site.

Launched in 2016, the Brisbane-based online casino exclusively targets players from Australia and is owned by Haydock Sports Limited and holds a Curaçao eGaming license. Sister site to Bovada, Bodog, Cafe Casino, Slots.lv and Ignition, Joe Fortune has since its inception established itself as a trustworthy operator for Aussies who want a gambling option that is safe and reliable, as well as great customer support, structured bonuses and a wide selection of pokies, table games and specialty games like keno and bingo.

Live Casino Content

Other highlights include Live Roulette, Live Blackjack and Live Baccarat, all powered by Costa Rica-based B2B provider of Live Dealer solutions to online and land-based operators, Visionary iGaming (ViG); Live Blackjack Early Payout with 99.5 percent return to player (RTP); accepts AUD and Bitcoin, the latter of which is accepted for both deposits and withdrawals. The casino’s mobile site is easily accessibly via iOS and Android mobile devices, and ViG products remain available when switching to a smaller screen.

Players choose from both the European and American variant of Live Roulette with limits of 1-300 AUD, 5-1,500 AUD, and 10-3,000 AUD. The (ViG) game lobby also features some 13 Live Blackjack tables and four dedicated to Live Baccarat. The latter offers a standard game and Super 6 variant, as well as a range of side bets, while Live Blackjack Early Payout and two side bets are supported by the former.

The operator’s live casino games are hosted by professional croupiers rather than a computer. The games are broadcast to players and the virtual dealer deals the cards seen on the screen. This eliminates the need to have to go to a brick-and-mortar casino.

Live dealer games have taken online casinos to the next level, while well-paced gameplay and the ability to play at home are added perks.  These games can be played just like traditional live dealer games without having to wait for a seat at a table, which is often the case at land-based casinos.
