For
those of you that may have visited the E.P.O.N.A. barn you
already know that Simone, Mutt and Jeff are the barn pest
control squad.
Family
unity is a wonderful thing!
Simone is the oldest at one and a half years
old and Mutt and Jeff are almost a year old. Simone
has definitely taken on the role of caretaker, but all three
look out for one another.
Our
tasks require a great deal of skill
and We are very diverse, tool time
anyone? the
appropriate amount of rest !!!
One
would think, that with all the work that we do around here
that they could provide us with a better means of
transportation, wouldn't you ???
Mutt and Jeff are full
brothers from the same litter. They were
acquired when a man arrived at the barn one day in hopes
that we would be able to take in one of his horses. We
were not able to at the time because of lack of space. he asked if we
might be interested in a kitten. At the time we were
considering a playmate for Simone. The rest is history. If you have seen them at the
barn, then you know how comical they are.
Simone was a Ferrell kitten dropped off to E.P.O.N.A. to
replace our beloved "Pumpkin" who had disappeared
a year ago.
Whether
from above or below, be aware that when you are at
E.P.O.N.A. you are always under the watchful eye of the
"Pest Control Squad"
We get asked as
much about the cats as we do about our horses, which is why
it was decided that they deserved their own page.
Hide
and seek,
anyone?
Gotcha!
We're not certain if we can call these rascals "Jellicle"
cats
... they're more like the three stooges! Whatever you
want to call them, there is no doubt that our barn just
wouldn't be the same without their hilariously endearing
presence.
