ADAM
Adam was rescued from owners who were not caring for him properly. He is in his mid- to late-teens and has a sweet disposition. Adam, as you can see from these pictures, was very malnourished.
March 8, 2006: Adam is doing well! His nutrition and worming program have enabled him to gain 100 much-needed pounds. His Farrier program has made him sound; he is not lame and has not been lame for some time now. Adam still requires corrective foot care and probably will always need it. We are watching his weight gain closely as we do not wish to put unnecessary strain on his feet. His personality continues to reveal itself as he has begun running around, bucking and kicking and trotting. He speaks to all the mares in the morning as they parade by him.
It continues to take a great deal of care and money to help Adam to recover from his neglect. Your help is greatly appreciated in making this another successful E.P.O.N.A. rescue!
