PokerStars US is giving away free seats into an upcoming live poker series to those who qualify on special dates on the popular online poker site.
On July 23, the online poker qualifying began and three players during the PokerStars US Sunset Series earned spots into the Summer Series at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, which features a jaw-dropping $1 million prize pool.
Seats Up for Grabs
There’s still one more opportunity for players to earn a live poker package for as little as $20 beginning July 20.
The first qualifier the other week was a $5 satellite into the $550 buy-in tournament at Live! Casino, which also included $700 worth of travel expenses. On the Michigan/New Jersey shared platform, “Zlajamiest” took it down and will be heading to Philadelphia on August 25 to compete in the $200,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament. Over in Pennsylvania, “spookiewalt1” earned the $1,250 package.
A July 28 satellite cost $10 to enter and awarded a travel package for two players — one on each platform — into the Sept. 1 $1,100 buy-in event, a $300,000 guaranteed tournament.
On Sunday, July 30, there will be a $20 qualifier into the $500,000 guaranteed tournament ($2,200 buy-in), which takes place on Sept. 8.
With multiple Day 1 starting flights offered for each of the three big events, players who win qualifiers can choose when to play. The packages include hotel accommodations at the host venue, a five-star property.
During this same period (July 27-August 3), the PokerStars US sites are offering a special reload bonus up to $500.
