Name: ChanceChance came to E.P.O.N.A. after he broke his leg in a fall on the ice in a freak winter accident. During his recovery his cast broke and the leg healed incorrectly leaving it permanently crooked at the knee.

His can do attitude that makes you realize that there is still joy and happiness to be found even after life has dealt you a raw deal. Wont you give him another chance?

Name: IcemanYou wont meet anyone braver than Iceman! Iceman once had a career as a high ranking jumper and eventor. In fact, he is the grandson to the famous, Northern Dancer. He was rescued by EPONA in partnership with NH Equine Humane Association as a victim of neglect. By the time he arrived at EPONA, it was determined that he suffered from Uveitis, or Moon Blindness, and had completely lost vision in one eye. Due to the inflammation from the disease, the veterinarian determined that both eyes should be removed. Now completely blind, Iceman enjoys daily romps in EPONA's largest paddock with his seeing-eye horse and best friend, Lucky.
