The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is back on the road and the next stop is Horseshoe Tunica for the kickoff of the RGPS Road Trip series. The series runs from August 29 to September 3 and it culminates in a $600 Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee.

The winner of the Main Event will also claim their spot in the Dream Seat Invitational at Thunder Valley Resort in November. The winner of that will move on to the PokerGO Tour Championship in December where they will battle it out with poker’s best for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The last time RGPS stopped in Tunica in March it was Arkansas native Kevin Broadway that took home $46,804 and a RGPS after a final-two chop deal in the Main Event. Broadway, a potato chip manufacturer by trade, outlasted a field of 601 players for a share of the $312,520 prize pool.

RGPS returns to Horseshoe Tunica for a late-summer series on Tuesday, August 29, and kicks off the action with the 10 a.m. $200 Seniors ring event. After lunch, it’s the $200 Series Opener ring event and the opening evening wraps up with the $200 Opening Night Guest Bounty. The popular bounty event is a mainstay on the tour and special guests will be holding envelopes that can hold prizes from RunGood Apparel store credit to $1,000 cash.
